July 23rd 2009 Hysterectomy

So, this is a potted plant Rob bought me when I had surgery.... he brought it to the hospital, only to bring it back home with us... I got to go home! I had been a good patient... did my walking and all the other important bodily functions neccesary. :)

The Primary children made me this giant GET WELL card... I was so tickled....they are so sweet and I miss them so much... One of the kids said I was in her heart.... and spencer yates said how much he loved me, all the kids made me feel so missed and cared about... I hope I can get back there soon!

So, I just got to thinking... this is the best side of my surgery you will see. :) Thank goodness no one took a picture of me in the hospital.... So, enjoy my flowers... ha... :) Chris's boss/Jerry Lang sent me these.

I love Sunflowers..and Michelle got me those! :)

The red carnations are from Mirna, Ben's mother. She came to visit and helped me to the bath room..great timing.. ha.. She was so sweet! We put her carnations in with Michelles sunflowers so its hard to see them, but they were so pretty. I didn't think to take pictures of my flowers until days after I was home...so they are dropping....but still gorgeous!

Myra Ritter bought me these....
I was so blessed to have her among a long list of others that brought me food of some sort. I could make a list, but I would be afraid I might leave someone out. My mother,of course that probably wishes she had stayed out in the country instead of being my neighbor..ha.. was here through out....and still is. I love my mother. No one like her in this world. (more ways than one) ha..

Now, this is not for me...but I wanted to post it... you would have to click on it to enlarge and see words... but Kristy dropped her truck off in front of Michelles apt. when she came back... Michelle had wrote notes and posted them all over her truck...it said.. "I LOVE MY NEA"

Memaw sent these flowers to the school for Nea, the same day. She had a hard few nights and her heart was broken.... you can see she is loved very much by her sister and grandmother, I think their hearts were broken too for Nea... so was mine. But, thats part of being a mother. I have the best family on earth. I say it all the time, because its true! :)

One of our first pickings from our garden.... oh and plums from our tree.....they were really good! Rob already canned pickles, he has done whole ones and sliced ones....they are really good and they aren't even ready. Supposed to wait a couple weeks, but we had a jar that didn't seal and we couldn't resist just tasting it. :)
Yesterdays picking... we are gonna overflow with squash and cucumbers....tomatoes are close... :) then we will have oodles of them too. Rob has given some away and we still have more than enough to eat.

We tried leaf lettuce this year, the one we tried last year was okay, but a little bitter...this is good so far and its still kinda small, but you just pick a few leaves and wash and eat on your sandwhich. Chris really liked it! :)

I am standing in the garden to show how tall our cucumbers are... Rob has done an excelent job this year.... we are learning and getting better...if it just wouldn't get so blumming HOT!

This is Rob standing in the garden and next to our fig tree...which is loaded....we should get lots of figs soon! :)

Guess it seems like this is all about Rob and the garden.... and I guess it was! ha... well, its all I will do till after surgery. Just not enough time to post Steve and Emily's trip here. So, stay tuned and I will get it posted when I can sit up long enough to care! :)

So....this is the day of Jose's bachelor party..... they guys did lots of things, but one of them was to come to MY house... :) and swim. I should feel very lucky...because these guys can't be around women at all this day...boys day only.....
It definetely took me back in time.....to when I got very little rest and prayed all the time for these guys! :)

They came inside for a just a bit and looked at some video clips of "FUN" things they have been doing while here..... :)

Its kind funny cause, its good STILL to know where they are and just WHAT they are doing next! :) So, I still got to be mommy even though they didnt realize it. :)

This was at the reception for Kammie and Jose....

I think my kids are the only dancers....very few people....maybe just them and the family danced!

This is the Herrera boys and their wives.......... :)

LeMarc, Adam & Alicia at reception.....

Had to get a picture with my other Utah son's before leaving...... Miss those guys....and want to hug on their little ones if they will bring them next time! :)

Shane was talking to Kristy, she was kinda by herself at this place with Older people...ha... so it was nice of him to sit by her a minute and ask her questions and stuff..... :)

Totally out of order....but a few pictures of the guys at the house before the reception... second night the guys all got here.

They showed us their trip to the DONKEY farm..... and the donkeys were cute! :)

I am glad I get more sleep these days..... these guys had fun, but I can't bare to watch anymore. :)

This was the second day the boys got here too.....a lady hit Kristy from behind. She was on her way to Michelle's and right in front of the library, BAM..... everyone was stopped and turning but this lady.

You can see there was such minor damage to the truck that you cant really see any at all...... this is why we keep her in the BIG TRUCK! :) I think she is glad now. :) She understands! :)

An ADAM egg...... An ALICIA egg... :)

This one made me a bit sad to post...but then I thought...NO, we are proud of our little grandbaby and will see her again....I am not sad about that at all! We love her and will remember her. I guess it could of been a "him," But Michelle made a baby girl on her egg, so we will go with a girl. :)

This was GOOSE , upside down.... ha..Adam and Alicia say this to each other all the time. They are cute ! :) I think Alicia made this for her hunny. Her Goose! :)

Tray full of eggs..... not sure whose is whose on here....but I know they will know when they see them. :)

This one is definetly " I Love Alicia" :)

That may be Adams egg....cant remember...seems like he did a stipped one. :) all of them were creative and good! :)

I guess I am posting backwards again.... they are NOW decorating... ha...

They all had alot of fun.... I was tired, and would of put it off...... but Chris said we are doing the eggs! So we did the eggs. ha... :)

aww.... multi-colored.... just like I thought . :)

they took great care they were careful and did each one different.

It was fun for me to just watch them as they used their ideas and creativity on these things.

Looks like Alicia helping nea with one.... :)

Oh, goodness....looks like Nea needed help...what happened to this egg Nea? :) ha!

Still doing eggs.......

Oh...last one.... actually it was probably supposed to be the FIRST one.. ha.. oh well, it is posted! Memories....right.... :) I sure love them all...and so glad they are here! Wish our Steven and Emily was here too.

Well.... would you believe its EASTER...ha...well.... a bit late for sure, But we did have fun and so I am posting the kiddos even though its almost JUNE. ha.. :) BRIE, smile.....this is fun sweetie...... thats why I am posting this....such FUN memories! :)

It takes our whole family to hunt and find the left over eggs......

Chris....not sure what was funny to you, but Ken isn't as amused. :)

Some of us had time to just Pose.....

another Poser.....

Yet a third set of posers....must be nice... :)

Counting to see if everyone got the right number of eggs. You could only get 44 each....so we all want to be careful to not be cheated. ha.... :)

Jessie and Kristy decided not to hunt this year...but they are still out being helpful...well, with their hands in the air and in their pockets... I am sure they were just finishing up something good. :)

hummm..out of order...but atleast posted! Spencer has lots of eggs already! Go Spencer!

Wow...time for another pose.... some of us are busy...... :) then again, it is tough to stop and smile like that when you have been watching kids hunt eggs. How draining. ha!

Tristen....curly top!

Alex....the man!

This was inside while we waited for the "hunt" to begin.... looks like fun, doesn't it! ha! We really do have a good time. ha....

Tom trying to get Nea up...probably helping her on her service. :)

Just chillin.... Michelle is so much like her grandma Martie...she always keeps her toes and nails done. :)

I know my granddaughter is gonna look just like this and look up at her grandma and smile that sweet little smile. :)
