Tonight....Thursday.....

Michelle playing the Wii...... :)

Ben's turn....... :)

These two are getting to have a little fun tonight, they usually just study, study, study........

This is Ben's photo album they are making a copy of the missionary that baptized Ben when he was little.....he found Elder Farneman and is emailing him a copy.

This is Wednesday night....
Normal night for Michelle and Ben..... how they can study here in this house is beyond me. :)

Its getting late and they are so tired....but have to finish. It will be worth it in the end...when this is all over they will be able to relax and enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Nea making a blanket..... :)
Well, darn! I forgot to get my camera... I'll get better at this bloggin as it stays on my mind more.....But..... Kristy was supposed to make a Fleece tie blanket in Young Women's Wed. night. She bought the wrong material. So, we made due with her animal print felt-feeling-material she bought. :)

You know Kristy did NOT sew this....surely you didn't fall for that "staged" first photo. ha... Her Uncle Rob is behind it, he just didn't want anyone to know he made it, he gave kristy Credit. Nice, huh....but he is the seamstress not me or Nea. :)

I should of taken pictures of the beginning stages, I forgot... :( because Kristy "pinned material & batting" and helped hold and cut! :)

It's done! She really likes it! Robby made this in under and hour! I need one now! :)

She wants to take this on the New York Band trip! It will sure be nice to have on the bus, because those charter busses get cold.

This was all she wanted to do....snuggle and snooze. :) It turned out cute though, don't ya think? :)
The Blanket , nea! ;) heheh... just kidin....

Kenneth, Jennifer and Spencer.....
Blue and Gold Banquet....
all gathered around the pro cake baker. :)

Spencer is dressed up and ready! He was so excited it was hard to get him to be still long enough to take this picture. I wanted to do a retake and get all of his cap, but he was GONE. ha.. :)

Well, its easy to see what this cake is. True Buckeye Fans! Even at a scout function! :) Good job Spencer!

Well, Kristy and a few of her friends decorated Aaron's car for Valentines. They put hearts all over it and filled it with balloons.......
Sounds like lots of fun, doesn't it!

Well, what if you were the one that had to clean it all up before you drive home! ha... Fun, for who? ha... :)

Well, Kristy looks like it was fun for her..... ..... :)

Well, so far Aaron seems to think its cool..... ha... I just wonder when he had to take off every heart and start popping balloons if he still had that smile. :) ha...

Well, he must of been okay, because he came to our house the next morning, which is Valentines Day and his birthday...and put rose petals all over Kristy's room while she was gone on Errands for her mom. :) YES, i did it on purpose...had to get her out for a bit. :)

She also got these beautiful roses....25 of them. I usually got 3 flowers in a small vase with lots of greenery.... ha.. :)

He also put them on her bed, TV...dressers...he put rose petals everywhere in her room. It was so cute.

  • He bought her favorite candy bars. I told him how sweet he bought two...one for me and one for Kristy...he said..."yes, he did" good boy! :)

After Kristy got to enjoy the petals for a bit... I decided I needed to figure out a way to get those petals off the floor...she would leave them for days.... who knows...they might still be there! ha.. :)

So, the smart and sneaky mom that I am ... I suggested picking them all up and laying on her bed and throwing them in the air so we could take a CUTE PICTURE. :)

I know...am I good or what....worked like a charm...teenage girl....cute picture idea.... yep.... I did good. :)

Then that night since it was Aarons birthday, all his friends were at Papcitas waiting to suprise him! Kristy walks him in, he's thinking its just her and him, well I DONT think SO. ha! He was suprised. He is a really nice youngman. We are lucky she likes someone that is such a good boy with good standards.

This Handsome man is Chris's father. He played professional football for two years in the late 60's, until he had an injury that ended that dream for him. He loved football and so do both his sons! :) He passed away recently and it was very difficult on all of his family and friends that love him so much. He wanted to Celebrate his life and not have a sad funeral service. I was not able to attend, but everyone spoke of it highly and told how special it was....a great tribute in Fred's behalf. No dry eyes....every one that attended had been touched by Fred in some unique way. He is loved and missed very much by all of us.

The other day the mail lady pulled up and honked...she had a box for us..... I realized as I tore away the paper that it was an NFL original...with the signatures of Freds team players...along with his own signature! I was very moved. Since I was not able to go to California when he passed away, it was almost as if it wasn't really real..... I knew it was, but some how, not being there just didn't help me finalize it in my mind and heart. When I took this football in my hands and read Freds signature I began to cry. This made it very real to me....perhaps too real....as the other family members are trying to heal...I am just now beginning to truly realize he is not here...that we won't be able to make that trip and show off the kids...(and grandkids....that will come in our future to make him great-grandpa.) We always wanted to make that trip again, and realizing if we do....he will not be part of it, was really hard for me. I think I had to be strong during all this in the beginning trying to keep it all together for Chris and Marijane, who took this really - really hard, being so far from their dad all these years, so last week when I opened and held this football....it was very emotional for me.

My Parents are such an inspiration to me. Life has definetly not been an easy road for them over the years. Me being one of their trials. :) and somehow they pulled it off and are still together and still going strong in the gospel.

Moms are those special kind of people that are always there when you need them....and sometimes even when you don't think you do....they just know and are there anyway. :)

How in the world my mom had energy to dance at any of these weddings is beyond me.......

I would never have made it through the three weddings last year if it hadn't been for my mom...... My family, period! With out them, it just wouldnt have all come together. But, my mom was the one I knew was there and I could depend on no matter what....all the way to the very end.

These two are precious~! I am so glad they have each other~! :)

My Son-In-Law, Ben! He is outgoing and fun! He's a good sport and likes to show off his muscles! ha! Naw...he was posing just before jumping in the pool in January!

He has been known to "pickUp" hot chicks...so we have to keep a close watch on him. :) ha!

He is such a sweet heart. He has a gentle and calming nature. He's adorable!
Emily is my second daughter-in-law...I haven't gotten to know her as well since she doesn't live here. :( But, she has a really fun personality and is So sweet!

Isn't she a doll!

She has a great sense of humor or else she couldn't be married to Steven. :) This is their wedding day and Steven is posing in her lap and she is still smiling! ha... :)

Alicia is the first of my daughter-In-Laws. I think she did this at all three weddings! She is so much fun!

She is precious....and makes my son so HAPPY! :)

She is quite a hoot....she is not shy at all! :) Double -Take....she even looks like my son in this photo! :)

Okay, My best friend in the whole wide world...that'd be Rena Kay...some call her Lorena.. :) ha...she has been visiting from Utah and had to leave today. :( I took a picture thinking I am gonna be good and post it on my blogg.( After all she is the only reason I am blogging...and now I think I kinda like it.) :) But, the Picture I took she had her eyes closed! ha...so, I decided not to post that one. Your welcome Rena Kay! ;) ha...and found one on my computer I had saved and so I am posting it! I sure miss her already. I need her here... I don't know what it is with Utah! :) They can't possibly need her around in all that snow as I do here in Texas! :) Maybe we can get her back during the Yamboree.... hint-hint. :)

Like Father Like son... My dad and my brother....it tickles me to see Kenneth dress Western style because dad always wanted him to as a kid and he wouldn't have anything to do with it.

But look at him NOW...he's a real rootin tootin Cowboy! :)
