Well, it is my son's 25th birthday and Look what i got from his sweet little wife, Alicia.... all cause I had Adam. :) Is that sweet or what. :)
The whole crew was here to celebrate, cook, eat and play....Adam wanted to swim...but it rained hard all day.

Alicia fixing kabobs for grillin.......... looks like Michelle and Adam just watching... ha... but Adam and Kenneth worked hard cookin on the smoker that dad got ready for them.

Well, Alex is getting kabobs going while his mother smiles for the camera. :) She did make lots of kabobs herself, incase that sounded like she only smiled and didn't work. ha.. :)

Alex's famouse word...... yep.. .he is BEAST...... I think thats a good thing..... :)

However...this looks more beasty to me.... ha.... we did this for Steveo.... he always put on the bubba teeth! So, here's to you Steve! :) Wow , Tristen's are almost human like. hah... :)

Kabob sorting center....................

Kabobs ready for the GRILL........ this is nothing like Tecanos in Utah...but we tried. :)

Lip smaking...... thats what all these folks was doing...smaking they's lips! ha....

Seth is eating chicken... I forgot dad grilled chicken too......... SO good to have Seth here...he has been missed and we love him coming over!

Kenneth and Jennifer had brought some left overs from a restraunt they ate at earlier....and Brie is eating a piece of the shrimp from it. I don't know if memaws trying to swipe it or just kissing on brie...memaws sneaky..... :)

MORE ready to eat.....Adam is taking his pick! :) Well, he is the birthday boy and it was all his idea! :)

These guys worked out side a long time..... wet from rain and from sweat...it was hot and muggy! It rained hard! When i stepped out to take this picture I thought lightning was going to kill us it hit hard and loud over near papaws shop! Ken never budged...just kept on with his umbrella and cooking. :) I screamed, however. ha...

Wow....these guys, Seth and Michael sure look happy and full!

Jennifer and I were one of the last ones to get our plates.... As you can see Jeess and Chelle are done. Us mommies....we usually let the rest go first! Just how we are. :) ha...

Kenneth brought some corn and grilled it...and it was yum! Tom is fixing to find out how YUM it is! :) Brandy seems happy about it, huh! :) OH...she is smiling again... funny,huh.. reckon she did work... naw...she did, I remember. hah... :) I know, it doesnt LOOK like it, trust me she did though! :) ha!

Not sure why they wanted outside in the storm and muggy humidity to eat their corn....but I caught em out here and had to get their picture! Adam and his Uncle Ken!

Now, what kid gets 2 cakes for their birthday? That Alicia made a chocolate and a strawberry! You go Alicia! :) She loves her hunny bunny.

I guess that would be the same kid that gets THREE cakes for his birthday!~ ha.....Brandy got adam this one! He is Superman...so it does make since. :)

I think Kenneth is getting ready to blow out Adams candles.... Adam doesn't realize this I dont think... I am not sure about mom.. hahah.... She could be getting on to him. Hand on hips and all! :)

Adam is looking through his little gift bag we got him. Its not much, but it's fun to look, isnt it! You can always hope for something awesome under all that tissue paper! ha... :)

Adam love Tublerone candy..... I think Lyndi taught him about this wonderful stuff long ago! :) By the way...Lyndi and Justin...where are you.... ha... weren't able to make it that weekend I think.

My amusing card..... Dollar store has some good ones. ;) ha... Really they do!

Ben had to work, so he got there after all the rif raf.... not saying our gatherings are rif-raf...ha... or maybe i was....but he was hugging his little wifey poo! She needed a hug...and he is always there to give her one too. Sweet Ben.

OH yeah....Lemarc made it late too!!!!!! GLAD YOU came Markee! Not the same with out the Donkeys!

What do you think Heavenly Father gave us this rainy day.......after all the festivities.... he gave us a DOUBLE rain bow... its hard to see....but there are two rainbows. Now how many of us can say we got a double rainbow for our 25th birthday??? Thats what I thought...non of ya! :) Gotta be special!

The end of a wonderful day! Love all my family!

Well, this is FHE at my house a couple weeks ago.... I was still exhausted from surgery and tired easily......Mom's in charge...Rob made us popcorn for snacks before lesson...so we snacked ahead of time.

Alicia's sweet smile.... :) Kristy's...ummm.... popcorn.... ? lol.... good huh Nea! Thanks for sharing it with us! :)

Spencer's turn in the lesson...cant remember what he was doing though... I need to post these things as they happen!

Mom has Brie and Spencer doing a puzzle....she leaves out one piece and they don't know it.... making a point here...that with out all of us our puzzles wont be complete. Families... are special. :)

The others watching are trying to help from a-far... ha.... You can barely see the pink foot pan...Chris is still soaking his toe... it was infected for almost as long as it took my incision from surgery to recover. Dr. made a mess of his ingrown toenail! Maybe he was supposed to have sympathy pains for me...if so it worked. :) Plus, he and I both were in PAIN for weeks together....we were quite the pair for a while there. ha... :)

Everyone usually ends up at the table to play farkle or cards after Family home Evening.... :)

Yep,this time is was farkle! Nothin quite like family fun! Adam and Alicia always up for fun.....Jessica and Michael, (Jess's friend who recently got baptized) Kristy with her newly dyed hair...Spencer rollin!

And they don't just play and roll.... they take score....there are winners! And LOSERS...haha.... :)

Goodness almost forgot....Kenneth came in from a meeting after it was all over.... A for EFFORT. :) Hey he looks nice. :) ha...

July 23rd 2009 Hysterectomy

So, this is a potted plant Rob bought me when I had surgery.... he brought it to the hospital, only to bring it back home with us... I got to go home! I had been a good patient... did my walking and all the other important bodily functions neccesary. :)

The Primary children made me this giant GET WELL card... I was so tickled....they are so sweet and I miss them so much... One of the kids said I was in her heart.... and spencer yates said how much he loved me, all the kids made me feel so missed and cared about... I hope I can get back there soon!

So, I just got to thinking... this is the best side of my surgery you will see. :) Thank goodness no one took a picture of me in the hospital.... So, enjoy my flowers... ha... :) Chris's boss/Jerry Lang sent me these.

I love Sunflowers..and Michelle got me those! :)

The red carnations are from Mirna, Ben's mother. She came to visit and helped me to the bath room..great timing.. ha.. She was so sweet! We put her carnations in with Michelles sunflowers so its hard to see them, but they were so pretty. I didn't think to take pictures of my flowers until days after I was home...so they are dropping....but still gorgeous!

Myra Ritter bought me these....
I was so blessed to have her among a long list of others that brought me food of some sort. I could make a list, but I would be afraid I might leave someone out. My mother,of course that probably wishes she had stayed out in the country instead of being my neighbor..ha.. was here through out....and still is. I love my mother. No one like her in this world. (more ways than one) ha..

Now, this is not for me...but I wanted to post it... you would have to click on it to enlarge and see words... but Kristy dropped her truck off in front of Michelles apt. when she came back... Michelle had wrote notes and posted them all over her truck...it said.. "I LOVE MY NEA"

Memaw sent these flowers to the school for Nea, the same day. She had a hard few nights and her heart was broken.... you can see she is loved very much by her sister and grandmother, I think their hearts were broken too for Nea... so was mine. But, thats part of being a mother. I have the best family on earth. I say it all the time, because its true! :)
